Infinity Ward, having only just broken the news over Twitter, did not go into any further detail in regards to the Wii version, just announcing that gamers who were worried Modern Warfare 3 might get lost in the transition from Wii to Wii U can rest easy. Obviously, Modern Warfare 3 on the Wii won’t be an exact replica of the PS3 or Xbox 360 experience, but it will be yet another console that supports the juggernaut franchise. Even though the majority of the potentially record-breaking sales for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game, Infinity Ward yesterday revealed they will also be putting out a Wii version of the first person shooter for those gamers who like to get their motion control on.
